when i openly, adamantly and sincerely tell people younger and with less experienced than myself to contact me to grab lunch or drinks etc., is it wrong of me to be offended that they don’t take me up on my offer? i am a nice person. i can help you and give you perspective, so why wouldn’t you want my help? shrugs.
i need to go out more and LIVE life and enjoy my twenties instead of staying home and living life through the characters on television. but how can i resist when their lives are so entertaining….
today i spotted a little girl (prob 1 year old) adorned in pink. with one hand she held a chocolate bar and smeared all across her face was chocolate reminisce. i died instantly and almost swooped her up and ran right there and then. i suppressed the urge.

Another Pixar….
Compared to the last two (Up and Wall-E) have to say Pixar dropped the ball a bit in originality. The story of Brave is not original and has been done:
- Princess being forced to be married (e.g. Princess Diaries 2)
- Turning into a bear (e.g. Brother Bear)
Haha ok my examples aren’t the best, but they sort of prove my point. Nonetheless, Brave is a cute and heartfelt movie.
The Scottish accents are fun and the three brothers are adorable. I loved Merida. She’s a bit stubborn, but her strength, bravery and courage is a great example for young girls. Not to mention I’m a sucker for movies with great messages and “change your fate”, can’t get better than that. So empowering - I love it!
Overall it’s a movie I’d recommend.
